“Compliant” is about to mean submitted digitally
From October 2026, permitted and licensed waste sites in England and Wales have to submit waste movement records to DEFRA’s Digital Waste Tracking service — carriers, brokers and dealers follow from October 2027. Paper pads and spreadsheets won’t plug into that. WasteBee’s records are built to.

Waste has to be correctly classified
European Waste Catalogue codes and hazardous indicators need to be recorded accurately against every load.
EWC codes sit on the job template itself, so a driver can't complete a collection without the right classification attached.

Customers and auditors expect evidence that confidential or hazardous waste was actually destroyed, not just collected.
A branded Certificate of Destruction generates and sends itself the moment a job's marked complete.

Does it work if my drivers have no signal?
Yes — the driver app is offline-first. Jobs, signatures, photos and GPS position all keep working with zero signal and sync automatically the moment a connection's back.

WasteBee's Waste Transfer Notes are structured with the EWC codes, hazardous indicators and job data DWT submissions need, so you're not starting from paper when the mandate lands.
Can it replace our paper Waste Transfer Note pads?
Yes. Every job generates a digital WTN automatically once the customer signs — no pre-printed pads, no re-typing into a spreadsheet afterwards.
Does it handle skip hire as well as general waste collections?
Both, in the same system — recurring collection rounds and one-off skip drops and swaps can sit on the same scheduler and the same driver app.
Will it work with our accounting software?
Jobs sync through to Sage, Xero and QuickBooks once they're marked complete, so invoicing doesn't mean re-entering the same job twice.
Can customers see their own collection history?
Yes — customers get a self-service portal showing signed WTNs, certificates, and their upcoming collections, without having to call the office.
